What is FBLA and What Do We Do? FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America, and our mission is to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society. That means we’re here to help students gain real-world leadership, communication, and business skills that they’ll use for the rest of their lives—no matter what career they choose. At Cerritos College, our FBLA chapter is more than just a business club—it’s a place to grow professionally, give back to the community, and have fun with like-minded students who are motivated and driven. We focus on four key areas: Leadership development through officer roles, public speaking, and event planning Career preparation through workshops, resume building, and networking with professionals Academic competitions at the state and national level in business, finance, marketing, and more Community service and fundraising to give back and support important causes
