Chinese 101 Online Classes This Fall

Dear Students,

Fall 2026 enrollment is underway! Just letting you know that two Chinese 101 classes will be offered ONLINE in the fall semester:

• CHIN 101 (33695) — 18 weeks (8/17-12/18)
• CHIN 101 (33697) — 15 weeks (9/8-12/18)

In CHIN 101, students engage with a variety of course materials and resources and work on task-based assignments and projects related to everyday life while practicing Chinese according to their own interests and learning preferences.

CHIN 101 is a UC/CSU transferable, 5-unit course that prepares students for a Chinese AA Degree.

You are welcome to enroll in a CHIN 101 class that fits your schedule this fall, and to explore Chinese language and culture for enrichment and enjoyment. K–12 students are welcome to dual enroll in the course — tuition-free.
